Membership

Service Membership
Backbone of the organization.  These are the men and women that provide treatment to the patients during transport to the hospital.  Must be trained at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level or above.

 

Support Membership
These are the men and women that provide support to the service member while they provide treatment to the patients during transport to the hospital.  Must be trained at the Emergency First Aid  level or above. This category is for members that are currently in training to become an EMT or currently trained in Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC).

 

Associate Membership
Associate Service Membership - These are the men and women that provide treatment to the patients during transport to the hospital.  Must be trained at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level or above.  This membership category is for those that want to provide service to the community but have limited availability.

Associate Support Membership - These are the men and women that provide support to the service member while they provide treatment to the patients during transport to the hospital.  Must be trained at the Emergency First Aid  level or above. This category is for members that are currently in training to become an EMT or currently trained in Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC).  This membership category is for those that want to provide service to the community but have limited availability.

 

Junior Membership
These are the young men and women that provide support to the service member while they provide treatment to the patients during transport to the hospital.   This category is for men and women between the ages of 15 and 18.  During this time they have limited time requirements and is designed to bring the next generation of EMS personnel into the squad.
 
Auxiliary Membership
These are the men and women that provide support to the squad in general.  There is no training requirements for this membership category.  This category is for citizens that want to support the squad but do not want to run the emergency calls.  Their role is to provide support during long standbys and fundraising programs.
 
Reserve Membership
 These are the men and women that provide treatment to the patients at their work locations and assist during transport to the hospital.  Must be trained at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level or above.  This category is for members that work for "participating employers" as a means to help the local industries and business provide prompt emergency care to their employees.
